About
Built by a publisher, for publishers
CheckArticle exists so writers can catch the problems that cost them traffic and revenue before an article goes live, not after.
Why we built it
Publishers today check an article in five places before publishing: one tool for readability, another for keywords, a third for AI-sounding text, and then guesswork for Google News, Discover and AdSense policy. Most of those tools also need the page to be live first, which means the problem is already indexed by the time you find it.
CheckArticle puts every one of those checks in one report that works on a draft, and adds the fixes: headline options, meta descriptions, FAQ sections and rewrites of flagged sentences.
What's on the site
- The article checker: one pre-publish report covering Google policy, News, Discover, E-E-A-T, AI writing patterns, readability and keywords.
- Free tools: headline analyzer, AI writing pattern checker, and readability and keyword density checker, with no sign-up.
- Google updates tracker: every confirmed ranking update and Search Central announcement, collected automatically from Google.
- Learn and Announcements: in-depth pages on what Google asks of publishers, plus product updates and analysis of Google's changes.

How the checks work
Writing checks, such as readability, keyword placement and AI writing patterns, are measured with fixed rules on our server. Google checks are made by an AI model instructed to review the article against Google's published policies and guidelines. Both are guidance rather than guarantees, and we explain the limits on our disclaimer page. Read how we write and review guides in our editorial policy.
Your articles stay yours
We never keep the full text you check. Saved reports keep the results and the few sentences they quote, so you can reopen them. Details are in the privacy policy.
